THE MOLLINGTON MUNCH
(aka Molly Munch)
is the Monthly Village Luncheon to which everyone is welcome.
It is held on the first Tuesday of the month at the Village Hall 12.30 for 1pm. It is essential to book by the Saturday before by either ringing
Pippa or Peter on 01295 758589
or popping a note through the letterbox of
Green End, (first house on the left on Whiteway).
The aperetif, two course home-cooked meal, and tea or coffee is £5, and payment can be made when booking or on the day.
Diners are invited to bring a bottle of their choice to go with the meal.
The Munch has been running for three years now and has been very popular. It is a great way for newcomers to the village to meet other residents and many good friendships have been forged .
Our team of eight volunteer cooks currently on the rota are experienced and trained up to Environmental Health Standards. There is no shortage of fun in the kitchen when they cook and serve up what has been a series of really great and varied lunches. Dietary need can be catered for as long as we know beforehand, but unfortunately we cannot cater for preferences as we do not have the kitchen capacity.
The diners for whom we have emails receive a monthly reminder of the forthcoming Munch and sometimes a preview of the menu. Interestingly some diners prefer to have a surprise!
If you need transport (within the village) let us know. Also, if it's your first visit to the Munch and you'd like one of the team to bring you, let us know.
